Removing water stains from leather

Remove water stains from leather by rubbing with a cloth dipped in a vinegar-and-water solution.   Test in a small area to make sure does not discolor or damage the leather. Not all leathers are created equally, what works with one item might damage another one – always test first.

Clean leather with a mixture of 2/3 cup (150ml) boiled linseed oil and 2/3 cup (150ml) vinegar. Carefully apply to any spots with a soft cloth and let dry.   Always do a test area on each piece or item before using solution. Different leathers may react differently – so test accordingly.
