Baking soda’s use as a refrigerator deodorizer is probably most familiar. It’s deodorizing properties can do wonders to control food odors. Open the top of a box and place it in the back of the refrigerator of freezer. Replace every 1 to 2 months for best results
Pour 3% hydrogen peroxide solution into a clean spray bottle (not previously filled with toxic cleaners) and use it as you would any other household cleaner: spray on countertops and leave for a few minutes to sanitize
If a fire occurs during cooking,, cover the bottom of the pan with salt and place a lid on top. It is also possible to use baking soda. Never use water because it can cause the fire to be splashed out of the pan and spread.
Kill germs in the bathroom and kitchen by mixing vinegar and water in a spritzer bottle. Apply liberally.
All exteriors of white goods, such as refrigerators, washing machines, and freezers, will benefit from a wipe over now and again with a cloth soaked in baking soda and warm water. Greasy marks and dust will quickly disappear.
