Instant antibacterial aid for gardeners

If you hate to wear gloves when gardening (except, of course, when working with roses, blackberries, or thistles) you will get nicked or scratched. White vinegar can be used to treat such scratches if you are not near a water supply. This stings for a second or two, but saves a long trek to the tap.

After this was submitted, the editors were thinking, if you are going to carry vinegar with you to garden – while not also carry water which you can also drink? Or if you are walking to the house to get the vinegar, you stop at a garden hose on the way. But we approved it anyway.
